Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Elias Alsos, a private individual based in Norway ("we", "us"), who runs VODSpark. By creating an account or using VODSpark you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we keep and why.

2. Your account

3. What you may clip

Only upload or link videos that you own or have permission to use. This includes the right to copy, edit and publish clips from them. Following the rules of the platform a video came from (Kick, Twitch, YouTube or anywhere else) and copyright law is your responsibility.

4. What VODSpark does, and doesn't do

5. Who owns what

You keep whatever rights you have in the videos you provide and the clips you make. You give us permission to store, copy and process that content only as needed to run VODSpark for you (for example to transcribe it, render clips and keep your files available). That permission ends when the content is deleted.

We own the VODSpark software, name and logo. You may not copy or resell the service itself.

6. Plans, limits and payment

7. Watermarks

Clips made on the Free plan always carry the VODSpark watermark. On Creator it is optional; on Pro it is optional and you can use your own logo and brand name instead. Don't try to remove a required watermark by editing requests or files in ways the app doesn't offer.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use VODSpark to:

9. Storage and deletion

10. Ending your account

11. Disclaimers and liability

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect by email and with a notice in the app. Continuing to use VODSpark after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to fix it. If we can't agree, you can get free help and mediation from the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet). Disputes are settled by the Norwegian courts, but if you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any right your local law gives you to bring a case where you live.
